Rachel Abalos, APRN-CNP, WHNP-BC, has great interest and a deep passion for women's health. Rachel’s career started within the labor and delivery specialty in Canada, then to Hawaii, and then Nevada.Rachel strives to bring compassion, attention, and patient-centered care to our expectant mothers and their families. She works with our perinatologists and multidisciplinary team to give the best possible care. She is dedicated to providing a meaningful experience with every visit to Desert Perinatal Associates.Rachel received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree from York University and graduated with Cum Laude designation. She obtained her Master of Science in Nursing degree with specialization as a Women's Health Nurse Practitioner from the University of Cincinnati and graduated with Honors. She is a member of the National Association of Nurse Practitioners in Women's Health (NPWH).Rachel loves spending time with family and friends, visiting her home city of Toronto (Canada), traveling around the world, watching concerts and live music, working out, and hiking.
